Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions constitute the complete and final agreement between the client and Madison Tree Trimming and supersede all prior verbal or written agreements. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Clients are encouraged to review this page periodically for any changes.

Services

Madison Tree Trimming provides professional tree care services including tree trimming, pruning, removal, stump grinding, and emergency storm response throughout Madison and Dane County. All work is performed by ISA-certified arborists following industry best practices and ANSI A300 standards. We use state-of-the-art equipment and follow strict safety protocols on every job. We reserve the right to decline any job that presents an unreasonable safety risk to our crew or surrounding property.

Estimates & Pricing

All estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Estimates are based on site conditions observed at the time of the visit. Final pricing may be adjusted if conditions differ materially from those assessed during the estimate, such as discovery of hidden decay, pest infestation, or access complications. We will notify you of any price adjustment before proceeding with work.

Customer Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for ensuring safe and unobstructed access to the work site before the scheduled service date. Please remove vehicles, furniture, and other obstacles from the work area. Clients must also inform us in advance of any underground utilities, irrigation systems, septic lines, or other hazards on the property. Failure to disclose known hazards may result in additional charges or cancellation of service.

Payment

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing before the start of work. We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards. A deposit may be required for large projects. Accounts not paid within 30 days of the invoice date may be subject to a late fee of 1.5 percent per month. In the event of non-payment, we reserve the right to pursue collection through appropriate legal channels.

Limitation of Liability

Madison Tree Trimming carries full general liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage for all employees and subcontractors. We are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing conditions such as diseased, structurally compromised, hollow, or root-bound trees where the risk was disclosed or reasonably discoverable. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the value of the services performed under the relevant service agreement.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Any disputes arising from our services shall be resolved in the courts of Dane County, Wisconsin. Both parties agree to attempt good-faith mediation before pursuing litigation.
